Errr no it's not. You don't have to tape or any of that garbage.
All you have to do is was about half an inch away from the stripes.
Heck I actually wax about a quarter of an inch away and once you do it the first time from then on its an absolute piece of cake. I don't even have to think about it.

Use 303 Aerospace on the stripes and bam done.

I'm not a big stripe fan but I think white or matte black would be the way to go. Painted white would look fantastic.

I just logged in to keep up. I also have a Sterling Gray and am leaning towards black, but I don't know. I think the best combo is blue w/white stripes. There's a few Stangs like that in my area and it looks great.

Matte Black stripes are played out. I was gonna put them on my 2010..but everybody is doing them.

If you are doing vinyl, I HIGHLY recommend www.graphic-express.com (their 2010/2011 stuff is on sale right now). I've tried many random vendors, and nothing ever comes close to the quality. You get what you pay for...

Someone (I believe one of the performance shops) already did grabber blue stripes, and it actually looked really, really good.

They look better than I thought they would, I wouldn't do it personally in that color though.

On the matte stripes, I thought they were a pita, but ymmv...

I think I'm goint to do some mods first and think about the stripes later, but I'm leaning towards silver stripes with black pin stripes or tungsten... I'm with Wilkinda, too many matt black stripes out there... Seems too common or regular, not that original or unique look that I'm looking for.. What do you think?
