Same here. My Stang is my 1st domestic vehicle since about 1981. I've owned 6 Toyotas; all good well beyond 200,000 miles. But since the Stang is a garage queen, she only has 36,000 miles and will probably be "upgraded" in '14 or '15, depending on what else becomes available. But these Ford's are better built than their predecessors.

I traded a BMW 330i in on my 2011 GT. This is my first American car (trucks don't count) since I bought a leftover 1989 Taurus SHO in 1990. The 330 was so horrible I'm done with BMW forever, and business has been off so I couldn't justify a 997S, so I bought my first mustang. Truth be told if they hadn't launched the new 5.0 I wouldn't have even given it a second look. So far so good.

nice in 2014/15 these 5.0's might even come with some kind of FI ... well according to all the rumors. thats gunna be awesome. but to be honest i was never a true domestic car fan since most were usually straight line cars IMO but when i started doing my research and found out this car offers that much power and great handling at a good price ... i had no choice but to go with it. plus i really do love the v8 exhaust note.

very true ... i traded in my 08 335 and i wasnt that happpy with it. if i do ever go back to them it has got to be some kind of M model.

i am also glad they launched the 5.0 once again
