New Headlight questions...
Hey guys, so I messed up my fender a few weeks back and it broke the clip for my headlight... I'm considering buying a new aftermarket pair since I wanted them anyway. First of all, how hard are they to install for a beginner?
I was looking at a few different pairs, the first of which being a smoked housing with the halo lights. I'm not a huge fan of how they look when theyre turned on, I'd probably need to switch to some halo fog lights as well. How do they compare in brightness to the stock housing with a HID bulb? I was originally gonna put the new bulbs in and smoke them, but a black housing is actually legal. The other pair I'm looking at is the 2010s, but again, worried about how bright they are.
They have a deal on american muscle for the halo lights and a black pair of turn signals. I know those are'nt difficut to install but can they be taken off of the bumper? I was planning on switching to a Roush front end in a year or so and I'm prety sure they will fit on that as well.
Any thoughts?

If I remember correclty you just unscrew the top bracket from the headlight that you can see with the hood open, then there is two other nuts that hold the headlight on on the bottom behind the bumper cover. I'd give it a 1/10 when it comes to just removing the headlight.

Ok so it shouldn'nt be a problem to replace the headlights. They quoted me .3 hours to install and .5 to aim the headlights... Which I'm sure is bull, how do you go about aiming the headlights?
Still no insight on the quality of lighting?

There is a phillips head like plastic screw on top of the headlight housing where the bulb goes in, you can actually go outside and see it now after you pop the hood. All you do is turn that screw, first get about 6 feet away from like your garage door closed and you will be able to see the beams on the headlight. Then you just adjust accordingly, its not hard at all and doesn't take too long. Its def. something you can do, sorry I can't comment on the quality of light.

Ok sweet, so thats not a big deal either... Thanks for the response! Just glad to know my estimate came in way under what I expected for the fender repair, now I have a reason to upgrade the lights.
