First production Shelby GT350s roll off the line - pictures

The front end, to me, looks like it is way too closed in, not enough lower fascia opening for air intake. I don't know why, but to me, the more open the front end fascia looks, kind of how Steeda and Roush front ends look, the better the car looks.
I wonder if Shelby could have cut out air entry points in the lower fascia in front of the front tires and ducted that so that air is blown right over the front brakes? Now that would be awesome! Bear 6 piston brakes and front end ducting to cool them!

To be able to withstand the boosts required to pump out 624 crank BHP, I wonder what Shelby does to rebuild the engine so that it can take such abuse?
I know for sure tearing down the engine and rebuilding it with forged conrods and lower compression ratio pistons are an absolute must. It is not even possible without taking the minimum of these two steps.

Man, I really like 'em. The front, the rear, the wheels, the exhaust exits in the middle, the interior, the whole package!
Whats the street pricing on these things? I saw in another article the MSRP was 30K + the price of the car. That cant be real world, you can get a GT500 for less than that.
