Tax $650

Is that reasonable? If so I guess I misjudged things...
And that my friend, is why I'm doing it myself...I can buy sooo much tools with that money, and go to mechanic school

Quote came in from CJ Pony parts, and they said $8,900, but there is a catch...they don't have a dyno. I was going to stick with the FRPP tune anyway, but it would be nice to have a dyno test to see if there are any issues. Would I be playing with fire going this route? I know lots of people have installed these in there driveways, and CJ has installed them before as well.

The major difference being CJ charges $75 an hour vs. $115, and CJ says 14 hours total as opposed to 18. (I guess 12 for the kit & 2 for the gauges) Everything else was more or less in line.

So, would it be stupid to go without the dyno? I really want to stick with the FRPP tune in any case...

Get the m90 as it installs in 10 hours and its on sale. $3900 for charger, $1150 install labor, gauges etc... use roush tune, no need for dyno. Jdm are experts and that costs more.

But imo, dyno runs at any reputable shop is money well spent.

I considered the M90, but my power goals would be maxxing it out and I figured the whipple might be better for the long haul.

The other issue was that M90 was that cheap for the 2010.

This is why I jumped on Brenspeed's "free install/tune if you pay in full up front" deal back when I had mine done. I'm not sure if they are still doing this.
