Default Want to know if this is bad

I figure it probably is, but so far nothing noticeable has happened. I got a BBK cold air intake last spring, got the tuner and everything was great. It ran several months without any problems. One day a few months ago, a engine light came on and so I popped the hood to find the PCV tube had came off my intake. It's the stock PCV tube, so I just put it back on. Well, I can't seem to drive more than a day without it coming off again. I asked my brother in law who has the same set up and he had to go to autozone and buy new tubing to compensate for the shortness of the stock tube. I just haven't had time to go and fix this. Have I damaged my car in any way or do you think I'm ok as long as I fix it soon?

No damage done, just go buy the tubing as soon as you can.

Go buy something to fix that. Otherwise you're letting in non-filtered air. Not to mention any dirt/dust/bugs that would happen to get up in there.

ya if it comes off while our are driving you are letting dirty air into your intake. So the sooner the better, hell do it tomorrow first thing

Yea, plus its letting air into the intake AFTER the MAF sensor throwing
the air/fuel ratio off causing the engine light to come on indicating a
lean condition. Not good... Not good at all...

I used some body panel dumdum to seal up my OEM
PVC tube and it remains installed and airtite 3 years later.
