I personally wouldn't

You have a better looking car now than the new 5.0's (imo), more hp, the SC whine and still have the focus as a DD

I guess that reinforces my decision lol Its just hard not to resist when you spend time at work watching youtube vids of modded 5.0s ripping the tracks up lol

The Mustang is probably worth $16k at the most, and the focus, well, I don't know the year, but I'd guess $4k if it's 3-4 years old. So that's 2/3 the cost of a new 5.0 before options and TTL. I don't know, sounds like a **** deal to me.

Also, remember, you trading in a supercharged Mustang won't mean jack **** to the dealer. Unless you sel it to someone privately, you might as well keep your car.

Plus, you'd be better off with the 05, it's going to be yours and you customed it to how you want it. Don't worry about the "new" freshness of the 5.0. Be happy with what you have. I have a 2003 GT and I'm more than happy with it, despite the fact that it's a generation behind the newer cars.

Besides, you're going to trade in 2 cars for a ONE stock, brand new car? Eh, not worth it.

If you want a new car and worried about the new 5.0 why not get the Camaro? It is slightly slower in the quarter mile though but the engine is a real beast and with few mods its just as good as the 5.0.

I wouldn't trade. Having a DD that gets good gas mileage plus takes most of the wear and tear of driving is pretty much the ideal set-up in my book. Plus your GT already has a lot of mods that you'd lose a significant amount of money on.

i would talk to the dealer and see what they would do for you, then decide what you wanna do. If it was me my wife wouldnt want me to b/c she thinks my car is much nicer, but i do like the 5.0 as well so its a tuff choice good luck

If you can, definitely the 5.0. The new body style is much better looking imo, and there is so much more potential in both handling and power that you can be at the power you're at now (or close to), n/a for less money invested. You won't pay as much in insurance, and the interior is so much better as well with more creature comforts that make it a viable dailey driver.

This is all assuming it makes sense financially. Good luck with w/e you decide!

Only one real solution.

Go forged motor, rebuild the trans and crank up the boost to 15-16 psi

You'll wonder why you ever wanted the 5.0 in the first place!
