Default picked my car up from the dealer...

the dealer finally got my car done after we went back and forth with this possibly not being a warranty issue. i dropped my car off a couple of weeks ago because it was grinding going into gear and i had a very hard time getting it in gear. the dealer saw my my headers and was quick to point the finger at me. i told them that the clutch chattered since the day i bought it from them and i told them 6 months ago that something wasn't right. the clutch was engaging right off of the floor and had no give. finally convinced the tech to write it up as warranty and the tear down began. he found that the clutch was faulty from the factory and had to replace it only with the rest of the clutch system? not sure y he replaced the whole clutch system but he did. he told me it looked like it had been slipping. now its all replaced and engages like a normal clutch should but it still chatters on low rpm take off's. I'm hoping that with my new clutch and really nice weather i'll get my 12.99 lol. I'm .16 away

What rpms are you leaving at? You could squeeze .05-.10 from raising your launch rpms.

thanks im glad too. they were really pushing me not just because of my mods but also that it was a clutch issue and to them clutch issues is usually self inflicted.

07 SHOWSTOPPER, I'm leaving about as hard as you can on street tires. last time i went i was cutting 1.9's and launching around 5k with a little ease of the clutch. it bogs to bad if i leave any lower than that. ive found best was either 2500 dump or high rpm with a slight slip with the latter of the 2 being the best. its supposed to be 53 degrees and sunny today and yesterday's DA was 500' below track elevation. last time i went it was 2400' above sea level yesterday it was 400' lol
