My Battery Was Covered Under Warranty!
Didn't know batteries were covered under factory warranty....
This morning I was sitting in my car, waiting for someone for about 30 min with only the radio on.
All of a sudden it went off and would say low battery when I tried to turn it back on.
So I tried to start it and only turned over once without starting.
I let it sit for about an hour and then it started right up.
So I took it right to the dealership and had them check it out since I didn't know what caused this.
The test came back that the battery was bad and they replaced it for free.
This was on a 2008 Mustang GT with 17.5k miles bought new.
Yay for Ford warranty!! Saved me at least $100.

A few here have reported dealerships that have done that but it seems to be the minority. But considering the track record of the MotorCrap batteries, they should all do it simply out of shame.
