2011 GT 5.0 is a beast now

I would not sweat the 375 ft/lb. rating of the transmission so much. I had a Paxton blown (7psi) 87 5.0 that made 400/400 rwhp/rwtq and made approx 100 passes and had 77000 miles on it when I sold it. That stock T-5 was rated at 295 ft/lbs and I never had a problem. Ford Racing and Roush are stating they will honor 3/36 drivetrain warranties on blown 5.0 kits making over 500 hp so they must feel comfortable with the MT-82. Maybe they figure the clutches will break before the transmission?

The Gods must be on your side because you would be the only one that had no problems with a stock T5 on a 400lbs engine...
