We just picked up a new grabber blue California Special convertible. For whatever reason, Ford decided that the California special does not get 5.0L badges from the factory. I want them, and was thinking of putting them under the CA special stripe on the fender. However I also think it could be too much. Thoughts?

Yeah, it would be too much.
But you could put little decal ones on the sides of the hood bulge.
Another thought...

if it were my car i would leave it as is. i think it would look out of place if you put it under the CS. but thats just my opinion and its your car. either way i am jealous of your car!

How about on the front of the front fenders (just behind the headlights). That's where muscle cars had their engine emblems back in the day. Yes, I'm old.

there was no 2010 gt/cs so there should be no confusion, well to those who know that anyway

personally I think its too much. I prefer less emblems

Don't do it!! Keep em guessing, sure wish my GT didn't have emblems. I think the 5.0 emblem is too big anyway...

I would leave the GT/CS and find another place for the 5.0 emblem or decal. The newer design GT/CS stripe and font don't look as good though IMO.

Maybe something on the cowl would work. Either way, I am thinking of having some matte black decals made for the cowl ditch. That should look nice on this car.
