10 v6 Stang: maybe a little faster than expected????
Hey i got a 2010 Mustang V6, stock, and i raced a v8 chrysler 300 the other night........i know that in a race a win is a win, no matter by how much, and anyway i lost, haha, but not by much as i would have expected....i was right behind him the whole time, pretty much he only beat me because of the acceleration lag on the v6....what do u guys think????i know that the 2010 and under v6 isnt the fastest car out there but would u say that its a little underrated or is it just that dodge/chrysler sucks cuz its heavy????lol....n from what ive heard the dodge charger, challenger, magnum, n the chrysler 300 all share the same platform, so would the outcome be the same going against those 4 cars in the v8 version????im guessing maybe dodge/chrysler is just kinda weak cuz on the videos they always compare the mustang gt, camaro ss, n challenger SRT8, n not the RT like it should be since the SRT8 would be equivalent to the shelby gt500....i may have lost the race, but in a way i felt like it was a small victory on my part cuz i wouldve expected to get smoked by anything with a v8

The 4L V6 can be modded to keep up with their 315HP 4.6L 3V big brothers. There are guys all over youtube who seriously modded their 4L sixxers to even spank a stock '11 5.0L Coyote.
And speaking of sixxers, the '11 3.7L V6 pumps out an advertised 305 crank HP, and has a more than respectable 280 crank ft-lbf torque. There are guys who are already making beasts out of the 3.7L V6 'Stangs with just a supercharger or turbos and some other key bolt-on mods.
