Default Took my 2011 5.0L Mustang GT to the track

Finally got to take my new 2011 5.0L Mustang GT Automatic to the track.
I wanted to get some baseline runs in before I started modifying it. But it's been raining down here every single evening. But anyways, this is how I did.

STOCK w/ NO TUNE
13.172@107.04

STOCK w/ Canned SCT Tune
12.975@110.55

STOCK w/ BBR Tune
12.598@112.01
12.606@112.00

Most ANY custom tune is better than the canned SCT tunes.

You also have to take into account the possibility that with the added track runs, the OP was learning how launch/handle the car better on that particular truck, this improving his times.

Tons better. Throttle response and acceleration is key.

These runs were all back to back to back with just enough time to load the tunes in. No cooldown time and the weather was hot and humid.

Man the autos really take a lot out of these cars unless they are tuned. The untuned manuals put up much better stock numbers from what I can tell.

Protip: you took it to the strip, not the track. "Track" implies actual driving.

Good numbers, though.
