No ... to retain Sync with Either Faceplate you need about an extra $200 in electronics.

The Scosche unit display the sync messages on the factory display.

According to the Metra information that I have seen ... the Metra display will display the Sync Messages .....

My question is.....Does the Metra have a plug-in play that just connects to our A/C and heater controls? Or does it require cutting and splicing of wires?

iPad Install with relocated radio/climate controls. (Via MustangSource)

Plug and Play. It shows plug on video. Install instructions are Metras website.

Lame. The ford kit doesn't need TWO screens to solve this problem. It's about the software and this solution is coming from a fabricator patching two different software solutions together. EPIC fail.

I agree ... Metra says their single LCD will display SYNC messages if you add the SYNC integration hardware. I wish Metra was using the higher quality looking buttons and LCD that SCOSCHE is using ....

Oh well ... I may just go ahead and order the METRA setup.
