When you do sell your ride, use the money for a massive down and buy the new 5.0 ('11 or wait for the '12, or if you are feeling adventurous, the '12 Boss).
You will not regret getting the 5.0 Coyote, they are damn powerful just stock and with mods, they are nutz

i really want trade in mine to get a 11, cuz i feel its easy to reach 10 sec goal on the 11, if i m continue doing mine, i need forged internal or even need another 200hp to reach to shave 1sec(mine doing 11.9 flat) well, did u saw 11gt can reach 10sec just using nitro? damn..maybe i m wrong lol.

Interestingly, the stock Coyote can be clown even without forged conrods and the 11:1 compression ratio pistons. You just have to boost very low, unless you of course rebuild the lower end.

I think FRPP even has a supercharger that the dealer can install (and be covered by your warranty) for the stock non-forged lower end Coyote.

yes, there is chance to blown the motor with 11:1 ratio, but u can see, some modified 11gt with supercharger on it still has 10psi, and totally stock, i would like to see the first blown motor from 11gt.

If you're only hitting 11.9 with nearly 500rwhp then power isn't what is holding you back.

Yeah, that is very true. And as you are implying, (at least what I assume you are implying), it is your skills that will get you much better times than 11.9 sec.

Now on the mechanical side, if your skills are up to par and not a factor, then it means that 500 RW BHP is a useless sharp cone of a HP curve which means you have an equally useless spike-cone of a torque curve where it is not a nice broad dome of a torque curve, basically the majority of your entire bandwidth is wasted on a gimped torque and you only have a very small bandwidth where the meat of your torque resides. The only way to correct this is to possible get a very close ratio tranny so that you can remain in that very narrow RPM bandwidth.

I agree. Stkjock has his modded car up for sale and even with a ton of stuff done to it he's down to 20,500$ right now. And that's low mileage as well.

After I spent the bucks on a supercharger I realized that this was my car at that point. Not worth selling any more.
