Upgrades price check
#11
There is a sticky in this section about doing the GT500 front end conversion. You can get the part numbers off of there and then check out Tousley Ford site and see what prices you can get there.
From what I recall off the top of my head, it's a costly mod around $1500 to $2k not including hood.
As for the hood, I would go look at classifieds, ebay, craig's list, etc and see if there is a take-off. There was one listed a few weeks back in the classifieds here for real cheap.
And yes.. there was a deluxe V6.. don't remember what came with it though.

Some of the people on this forum know absolutely nothing. The deluxe and premium is available in both the V6 and GT. Deluxe is the base model and the premium has leather and other upgrades..
Old school, new school? He has an 05, his only choice is the 05-09 GT500 styling.
OP, most people buy all the parts for the conversion either online from a Ford parts vendor or from their local dealership. I think the conversion costs about 2k.

And there are some out there that kind of look like shelby styling
but a bit off also.
P.S.
I was not attacking the O.P. about deluxe edition.
I truly did not realize they made a deluxe in the v6

From what I recall, I read that ford was doing away with "deluxe" because it got confusing for the consumers. Don't remember which year they started that with. Could be why some don't know they were out there and I do agree, Ford did get a little carried away with all the packages they had instead of just having upgrade selections.
