Sarcasm is hard to detect over the internet, especialy when people read what they want to see.
Whenever I have said in the past that you can get more power for your dollar, people always turn that into a personal insult and act like I'm attacking them.
+1 as u couldn't identify my sarcasm either, even with the wink and smiley face at the end.. Lol

It's all good.

I agree that's always going to be true when you look into modifying a lower model versus buying from the factory...with the Shelby, you're buying the Shelby name, interior work, body panels, in addition to the performance work, and did I mention the Shelby name? Props to whomever can afford it because they are sexy and certainly have that special allure. I hope I did not come off as a fanboy or anything towards you JD, I was just stating that you have quite a heck of a lot of modifications done to your car with more to come as opposed to the car in this videos blower upgrade and exhaust work. There will always be someone faster with more money . It's like the people that argue that buying a base Vette and making it more powerful than a Z06 for cheaper is the way to go...sure it can be done...but you still don't have a Z06. To each their own route!
P.S. your car is the ****

This sounds kind of like what I did. I did not have the money to buy a GT500 Shelby Super Snake but wanted one all the same so.... I built my own version for a lot less and even after I do the 302 short block build I'll still be in it for less money but with all the performance. Plus, its alot more fun building it yourself then letting some company do it for you.

+1. I've gotten some raised eyebrows from time to time over on the Saleen forums for things I've either done, or wanted to do to my car. While I like what Saleen has done with the car in general, I couldn't really care less that it's a Saleen. They just took the car 85% of the way I wanted it to be.
