I just had this confirmed with a rep at Ford. 2012 Boss 302 pricing is officially set at $40,995:

Yeah thats the problem. The price on the car is pretty good really, but with the limited production numbers, It'll be hard to get one for that.

The local dealership says they won't put a markup on it all they mark up is the dealer fees which is around $500-$1000 now if thats the actual case is another story.

They might not at first, but when they see neighboring dealerships do it and sell cars like that i bet the will hop on the band wagon.

Not very surprised. But yeah these will be aroudn 45-50K after dealer markups.

Eh...the last time I remember a Ford getting a hefty markup was the most recent retro Thunderbird...we'll see if these get marked up...but I have a feeling they won't be.

I saw one yesterday that looked very similar to a base model GT, with stock, cloth seats:


Then there was a much more modified one with Recaro seats and rear seat delete:



They had one on a dyno and it was very, very loud:
