I called up the parts department and they said (apprx) $187 + tax + $207.

I remember hearing different pricing from different forum members, but it looks like it'll be hard to come by a deal as good as you guys got

Dont ask them the price, tell them you can buy it for X amount from another ford dealership and then ask them if they can match that price. It's even better if you are there in person in thier face with the printout from tousley.

These guys are use to dealing with body shops and the like and there is no way a bodyshop is gonna pay $187 for that part. Be agressive about it and if you dont have it in you then find a friend who doesnt mind haggling with people to do it for you.

If you live somewhere where there are alot of ford dealerships within driving distance be sure to try them all.

Keep checking ebay I got a Trufiber Carbon fiber gt500 lip for $150 shipped...brand new but with minor imperfections (which I never found btw)..

Sounds like thats what I'll have to do. I have a friend that used to sell cars, and then worked at a body shop, so he usually knows the things to say to these bastards....er dealerships...
