Interesting Product of Bordem (TPMS and gauge related)
Not sure if this has been brought up yet, I searched through TPMS threads and used the online workshop manuals and found no info on it, but i was messing around with the car(2010 GT) the other night and in my boredem i turned the hazards on and off 3 times. Upon the completion of that cycle my TPMS light came on and the gauge display read along the lines of "Left Front Tire Calibrate" or something to that effect. Anyone know if that is an alternate way to program TPMS after install of new wheels?
just found it interesting. wonder what else these computer riddled cars can do with special button presses?
also, maybe we should start a thread with a master list of tips and tricks about these cars. like how to enable and disable perimeter lighting (example)

Have you forgotten that you drive a 2010 model?
Get the 2010 shop manual and read up on it...
Might as well get the Electrical Manual also...
I own a 2007 so I have the 2007 manual. Go figure.

If you have all the heat and air off, then press the power and defrost button (the one right above the power button) at the same time, it comes on as usual, then you hit the power button again and it goes into some kind of test mode. This was on a 2010 V6.

Interesting Mattscoke! I'll have to check that out.
157db - i have not forgotten they year of my mustang, the online manual's should be enough tho. I use the 2005 manual for anything powertrain related on my car, then use the 2011 for anything electronics or body related. i cant justify 179 dollars for a workshop manual in hard copy. idk.

I have gotten the eBay $150 worth of the original purchase price
out of them 10 fold. And it just keeps coming with every mod I do.
It was like $$ in the bank. I was blind without them and now I can
see. The online 'manuals' if thats what you want to call them are
very hard for me to use and browse, but the printed manuals can
be easily navigated and contain a lot more info than the online
versions. Info can be found in minutes instead of hours online.
