Please don't bash :) question on gears...
I did some searching on this board...
I have a 5-speed 2010 Mustang GT and was going to get 4:10 gears installed next wednesday.
With some of the searches I made - some people said its going to be great and some people have said I am going to hate them and I should get 3:73
Just looking for some more specific advice...With all the knowledge on the board, would just like to get some thoughts
Thanks!

4.10s are fine for a d/d for both city and hwy. I have them and I drive over 50 miles per. day on the hwy. Whoever said you are going to hate 4.10s probably don't have them and are just going on a hunch.

its fun. Its a bit of a handful at times with over 500 rwhp, but it is fun. I made the change when I was NA and it was amazing the difference. Night and day difference from the 3.55s. Once I got used to letting my motor run a little higher RPM and accepted how much faster it would rev, it became very fun to drive.

If you were thinking of getting serious about autocrossing or track days at various road courses, 4.10's would be too deep. You'd find the engine needing you to be one gear too high on occasion, and you don't want to "need" 3rd at auto-X or 5th out on the big road courses. 4.10's might be a little too much if your car sees LOTS of highway driving, all the time.
For most everything else, 4.10's are at least not unreasonable, up to a pretty good thing. One of my other cars is basically geared the same as having 4.10's in these Mustangs, and it is entirely liveable.
I wouldn't even bother with 3.73's if you already had 3.55's; the small difference (about 5%) isn't worth the cost and the effort except in a few very narrowly defined, specific cases (flame not intended - if you fit into one of those situations, you'd know it and wouldn't be asking this question).
It's a slightly different story starting from 3.31's, since 3.73 is a bigger jump from there. It kind of depends on how (un)happy you are with 3.31.
