Default 295 45 18 in the rear, now i have a slight rub...

just changed the rear tires to 295 45 18 in goodyear eagle f1 gs....was strolling through a parking lot and easily drove over a speed bump and when the rear tires came down off the bump i heard a split second of rubbing....i wasnt sure what i heard so i drove over anotehr one and heard it again....any of you guys have this? if i were to guess, it would be that the fender well shround is rubbing the inside corner of the tire when the weight comes down on the axle when coming off the speed bump/...

I've never heard of rubbing on that size.
But again I have not heard much about that size with the car being lowered either.
You are uncertain how lowered you are?

Hrm. I'd say looking at that fender well shroud is a good place to start.
Can you adjust that baby easily? (adjustable panhard bar like he asked?)

I have no rubbing issues with running 305/35/20 tires in the rear.

try look closely at the rear tires and the clearance side vs side
it may be off center a bit.
