Alt + 0228 gets you ä. For what it's worth, alt + 0233 gets you é, alt + 0252 gets you ü, and alt + 0246 gets you ö. Alt + 0176 gets you the degree symbol °, alt + 0174 gets you ®, and alt + 0169 gets you ©. Yes, I have all these memorized. Yes, it's sad.

Whoa, I did not know it was an ALT- code, I thought you had to copy and paste these characters form somewhere or you had to have a special keyboard.
Is there anyway to get the tilde above the letters? And also for the upside down question mark? That way, I can type in Spanish correctly!
