05-09 S197 trunk bulb size

Anyone know the bulb size for the light in the trunk?
cant seem to find it anywhere.

found it for the 2010 but not sure if the bulb is the same...thanks!

I assume you mean the high mount stop light bulb. It's a 921. I installed the Sylvania SilverStar 921ST in the g/f's Pony to offset the "MUSTANG" decal. The 921ST is advertised as 30% brighter than standard 921's.

im sorry i meant the interior trunk bulb...but thanks i might have to upgrade that too...make sure people see my brake lights.

I'm at work and the Stang is home. Did you check the OM? Did you pull the bulb and get the # off of it? I'd suspect the bulb for the '10 is the same as that for the '05-'09s.

mykim72--I couldn't find it in the Owner's Guide, on the Sylvania website, on the AutoZone website, or on the O'Reilly's website.

I Googled and found a reference to 212-2, also called D4MY-13446-A FORD, but it is not entirely clear to me what year(s) that covers.
