Stripped 5.0 or Used 2007-09?

I say get the '11 5.0, even if it's only a stripped down bare 300A. Though you don't get all the nifty stuff like leather powered seats and the electronics stuff, the stripped down 300A will throw you back into the seat just as hard as a fully loaded and optioned out Premium.
And if you get tired of the plain stuff, you can always put in whatever aftermarket interior upgrade of your choice.

I don't know where you are or how old you are, but have you looked at insurance costs? Even if it's your parents plan, a new 5.0 is going to be astronomical for a young fella like yourself. And what happens when you no longer qualify for their insurance.
On my local CraigsList, there's a '03 Cobra (Terminator) asking $18000 with some proper mods and only 46k miles. That would be a much cheaper to insure but still plenty of fun.
Of the vehicles you've listed (none of which are cheap to insure), the 5.0 would be superior. BTW, your parents may want to join Costco to get the invoice price.

I just picked up an '08 GT/CS in a trade deal but if I was looking to buy one outright it would have been an '11 5.0. I saw a couple used base 5.0's around the country in the 25k-26k range. There was a red one a couple weeks ago somewhere in Kansas if I remember right at a Ford dealer for $25,900.
