Default Stripped 5.0 or Used 2007-09?

Alright, so me and my dad have been talking about getting me a new car sometime soon. I'm thinking about Christmas time or before I go back to school. My Millinaturd broke down today because the idiots at Firestone didn't tighten everything up when changing the oil. I really like the speed and look of the 2011. Do you think I could get a 5.0 for about 27k to 29k? My second choice is a 2007-09 GT and wanted to know how fast those really are. My other car choices are SRT-8 Charger, Jeep, 300C, and Challenger R/T, and wondering your thoughts on those cars.

Yea, I think I'm just paying insurance. I know theres a big difference, but the speed, looks, and features I really like in the 5.0.

Yes, you should be able to get a base GT for $27-29K. I got an auto premium for a touch under $31k + tax and docs.

I see you also have a Jeep on your list ...

I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler and a 2010 GT ... IF I could only have one of them .... it would definitely be the Jeep ... it's just way to much fun to mod and play with !!! Luckily I can afford multiple toys ...

Hmm if you're talking about a Jeep SRT8 (a wrangler doesn't fit with your other options) go for it. It'll smoke all the cars you've listed above (stock).

We just shopped for used 08/09 GT's. Low mileage, good shape cars were 24,000. Not cream puffs either but 13,000 to 25,000 miles. Decided to get an '11 GT/CS. I just could not see the money they wanted for the paint scratches and dirty interiors we looked at. Saw about 8 cars and bought new.
