Help: ABS & TCS lights stay on

Help: ABS & TCS lights stay on
After a recent hard (quick) braking incident, both the ABS and TCS gauge lights stay on, as well as the TCS switch light on the dashboard. I've tried turning off and on again, and there's nothing specific in the user's manual. Any ideas on a fix?
UPDATE: Problem fixed itself. Guess I needed to wait more than a minute before restarting. I tried an hour later: fixed.
