They damaged YOUR property; they are responsible. Contact Ford Reps and tell them what happened, they helped me out with dealer issues.

If they can't buff the scratches out, they should step up and do the right thing, which would be replacing them.

Settle for nothing less. Dealerships expext car owners to be panty waisted wusses. Stand your ground and don't afraid to become the dreaded azzhole, showroom-screaming, embarassing-for-the-dealer customer.

A dealership will do pretty much anything, short of killing babies, to project a good reputation. If they don't fix the problem, just make sure potential buyers happen to hear about your problem with the dealership and normally they will cave.

I would think those will polish up perfectly, unless the scratches verge on gouges. I was able to get rid of a bit of curb rash on one of my polished aluminum 18" stock wheels starting with sandpapers, down to polishing compounds and finally to a bit of wax and you cannot tell at all!

Two items stand out here.
Dealership and AutoMaticCarWash.

Mine saw a dealership once when new and
does not know what an AutoMaticCarWash is.

You get back what you put into it.
Hand wash and no brush marked rims.
Lazyness equals damage.

If I was you, I would not make any attempt on your own to remove the scratches. This is on the dealership. If you try, they may come back and say you made it worse. I would document and photograph. You could even bring a small tape recorder to the dealership and keep it in your pocket while you discuss this with them. Cover your *** the best you can because as we all know, they will screw you if given the chance.

Why do dealerships in general have to be ******** most of the time? I know they're trying to make $ but still.

they aren't ******** most of the time, you only hear about the ones that are ********

No one pops in to say that they took their car in for service and everything went as scheduled.

They acknowledged their fault, bring it in to see if they can buff it out, but it already seems like they are trying to fix it whats the issue here?
