Default 2010 427R or 2011 GT?

Need a little input. Want to purchase another Mustang again. Found a 2010 427R with less than 5k miles on it for $37K. Drove it and really liked it. Has all the upgrades I would want in the car. However, cannot get over the fact I can get a new 2011 5.0 GT with Brembo package for $30,800 + tax, etc. Which way do I go? I'm leaning towards the 2011 for price and the new motor. Thanks.

Definitely 5.0 since it's the same body style. With a CAI and tune, you will make more RWHP than the 2010 with the supercharger!

Disclaimer: The above statement is my opinion and nothing more. LOL

Personally, I like the 2010 Roush. You can always upgrade to the P51 R2300 TVS kit and make a silly amount of whp (450-515whp).

Imagine the silly amount of power you could make by putting a blower on the 5.0! And the new 5.0 is $6,000 less than the 2010 Roush - money for the supercharger?

It's a no brainer. The 2010 Roush is not the better value of the two.

It might be a little different of the Roush were the cheaper of the two. But it's not in this case.

Get the 2011.

Thats true. I wasn't thinking about the price difference.. way up here, they'd both be about the same price lol

Plus the blower on the 5.0 makes about 600whp??

Definatly the 5.0. With the extra money you can easily get that thing pushing 600rwhp.

If you plan on selling the car down the line, the Roush will be worth more than a standard GT.

But still, it's the 5.0. It's a GODSEND!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Saleen/Roush cars. It's like someone else did the work that I'd want to do myself on a car. I take pride in doing my own creation. That's the beauty of Mustangs, you can customize them to how you want them to be.

With that being said, I'd take the 2011 5.0, and customize it to how you like it. Just my opinion.
