Am I the only person who doesn't like lowered stangs?

Café cars were lowered for better handling since the '60s. There are different reasons to lower cars, and that usually shows up in appearance. I don't lower for the "barrio" look, but appreciate a tastefully lowered, sporty looking car. It the '70s, my buds and I laughed at the "highboy" look some of the locals liked, as well as the beaners' lowrider cars. They both seemed ridiculous, but in different ways.
If you prefer the stock ride height, then that's what you should stick with.

I'm for a minor reduction in ride height (3/4 - 1") which looks pretty good IMO and there's no danger of bottoming out, etc. The after market springs also provide a stiffer ride for those winding roads.

Low me for, I'm probably the total opposite. I've lowered everything I've owned (including model cars...lol). I just don't like the look high. I also find that lowering to the correct geometry with the right equipment also makes for an awesome ride!
That's the cool thing about the hobby, all the differences!

The jacked up rear is for drag racers image and it's not an exclusivity to the muscle cars...
So the BMW comment is retarded.
Unless you live in an area where you can only go straight (LOL), the racked look will impair the handling and braking of your car.
Not always possible to marry look and efficiency...

My 05 was lowered with Steeda parts. Loved the way it cornered, was so much fun. But I didnt like the fact that when you jumped on it, it stayed flat. Kinda took some of the fun out of straight lines.
The 09 is still on stock parts. Love the way the *** drops and the nose rises when I get on it in a straight line. But I miss being able to fly around a corner 20 mph faster than other people.
Appearance wise, I like both.
