WOW ARE YOU SERIOUS
OK I just bought a 2008 V-6 convertible for a great price from a young kid.
The situation is the window behind the driver the little back window is missing. I said no big deal...easy fix... Boy was I surprised when I called for a price.
$$$$850.00 for the little piece of glass. Well I tried my local U PULL IT but never find a car that new in a place like that. I am down in Miami any suggestions.
Maybe a junk yard search data base would be great instead of calling around like some re-tard.
Thank you.
Brian

That doesn't sound right. But I'm lazy and will take your word for it.
Hell, just buy some delete panels and be done with it. Or Smoked louvers that replace the glass. Those are less than $200. Kill three birds with one stone: Repair the gaping hole and improve the styling and save some money.

Ahhh... you'd be right sir! My bad...
In that case, may I suggest a garbage bag and some duct-tape?
Seriously though, a lot of that quoted price might well be labor. If I'm not mistaken, to replace it, a fair amount of disassembly has to take place. Heck, on the hard top, you actually have to remove the rear seats and all the interior trim just to replace the little quarter window!!!

LOL, That made my night! Well, the smiley did it for me really.
As for a 'vert window, all I can say is unless you want to spend more money than usually, continue with your quest at calling the local junks to see if they have any S197 vet salvage parts that could replace your window.
