Well since my last post I have been doing more research on the topic and I have seen products that are legal among the states like the CAI. I saw bbk and k&n (k&n especially) are legal which is good to hear and some don't need a tune which is good to hear. I would like to get a tuner unfortunately its not in my budget just yet, and it is a project car so I'm having fun with it.

But I plan to do the same upgrade on performance a little and start working on the exterior like adding the deck lid and some side scoops.

Also going back to the bbk no tune there are some mixed reviews that it will and will not need a tune. Has anyone had any experience getting a CAI that doesn't need a tune?

CAI isn't going to do much without a tune.

5-7 increase maybe

Go with the blower first and then do everything else afterwards.
