You can't buy a 5.0 for 15K though. The 05-09 is a solid platform for a GT base with that kinda money...but I'm pretty sure the OP would use the extra mod money on appearance stuff rather than actual performance stuff...which is why I think he'd be better off in a v6 Stang.
I've seen PLENTY of ghetto-fabulous S197's on the street owned by teens. Perhaps he should just go that route.
