Default If you could ReDo your s197 from scratch..

How would you do it?

Appearance wise i would have gone for an Eleanor look or a grabber blue with white stripe shelby stripes.

Performance wise, well not much done to my current one! and i think im on the track i want to be so far

I would have bought a black saleen extreme. Unfortunately when i bought my car i knew nothing about Mustangs and thought that they were all the same. Sadly i was mistaken. However, my dream is still this car and hopefully somewhere in the next 2 years i'll make enough money to change the color. I don't care about resale value so i'm going to do whatever i want with it.

I dont think half of us care about our resale values considering how much we mod our cars

I like my car and I feel it's unique...
So I'd redo exactly the same thing.

I would have bought two so one could be my weekend warrior and my current one could be track only.

i've changed the exhaust 5 times
when i get used to the sound, i change the exhaust, then change it again.
like P-Diddy of the muffler world. lol.
changed CAI twice and then put in the Whipple
changed rims/tires twice
there have been a few things that i still want to change
i will never be done with either of my Mustangs, its always a work in progress
when i change something, i sell the old parts to make some of my money back
i've spent a lot of benjamins on this money pit
but thats the name of the game
the modding game. and i'm gonna keep modding as long as there is money in my bank.
i know i'll make some mistakes along the way, but thats ok.
as long as my Mustang keeps getting faster and louder.

I haven't done much to my car yet. But if I could go back I would have gotten the GT without premium (rather than the V6 premium) and in Grabber Blue.

If I had to start from scratch with my current car, I'd probably try to swing a GT500 fascia with some sort of deep dish rims. Or maybe go all performance and keep the exterior stock and have a sweet sleeper

Or if I had to start completely over with the same amount of money, I'd buy a 5-speed grabber orange 4.0
