Speaking of curvy, and not to send this in a new direction, but why did they have to do away with the "crimped" fenders of the 05-09 and go with a "curvy" fender. Historically, "angular" and "chiseled" features are associated with "manliness" and "curves" are associated with "feminine"

I know that most of us refer to cars as female.... but muscle cars have ***** and are tough and manly and should be a little more rough-cut and angular than the direction they are taking them.

A lot of people (including myself) don't care much for how they rounded off the rear... but to be honest the worst thing was when they rounded off the fender flares. I like the Line on the old ones.

If only I could use photoshop better, I think if you threw a powerdome styled hood on there it would look much more mustang. Also need the added small rear windows added in there.

The IRS is going to be optional. As well as two different v8's the 5.0 and a possibly new Turbo v8. That's not including Shelby's Twin Turbo GT500.

IRS being optional makes sense.
not everyone wants an IRS.

Looks good to me:

But the reality? Probably closer to this: (Yes, I KNOW it's not actually a Mustang concept, but I could see Ford going to something like this.)

Notice that the bottom of the car in the sketches is the same as the concept? Coincidence?

The sketches look great, the concept, eh. Kind of reminds me of a G8, with a splash of GTO thrown in.

Hope it doesn't weigh-in like a camaro. Sort of looks like something from Holden motors in Australia....I wonder if Ford will be offering a UTE.... that's something like a Ranchero
