Just looking for mustang owner preferences. If I was to get a black mustang with dark charcoal interior. Between Red , silver , or chrome which would you choose for racing stripes. I think the stripes all be getting would be the big 10" stripe in the middle and 1 4" stripes on both sides.

Dont have any sample pics just looking for quick poll from you guys.

I highly recommend NOT doing what I did because I really like mine and think it's pretty unique right now! I struggled between a deep metallic blue (sounds odd but that was kinda the point) and a more conservative dark shadow grey, you can see what I ended up doing, but I will always wonder how it would have looked with blue stripes. Plus I fugured there'd be a bunch of "black and blue" jokes about my car especially if I lost a race.

Mine are 14" wide and 2.5" apart. Who wants wimpy 9" stripes on a car like this

(off topic) I can't believe how different the back looks with the SLP loudmouths installed. The tips are larger and better looking and fill the cutouts better. I added pic 5 to show the difference.

I have posted this a few times. It will give you a idea before deciding.
It might not be exactly the stripes or colors,but it should help.

Try it and see what the blue looks like. Probably a different shade of blue but you can get the feel of it.
By the way, your Stang looks sharp!

No problem. Like I said I came across one day.
Of course, I don't have any mods or stripes (just the black with Mustang on the sides) on my car. I bought it right off the lot.
I just bought it in June.
I have the Premium Upgrade V6.
I am not dissapointed with it.

Do you guys get stripes painted on? I think I would prefer that over the decals.

Just picked up our '06 Vista Blue GT and want it striped but cant decide on color or width.
I do like the idea of them being painted on. Does anybody know the cost of either painted or vinyl?

I was also looking at paint in the begining but 200 vinyl or 1000 paint job stripes are nice but not worth that much money just for a lil style.

Around here you depending on quality you can get vinyl stripes for about $400-$800 and painted stripes for about $1000-$2000. That is a typical number, you can pay less if you do some work yourself or pay more if you want special paint or more elaborate designs. Of course clear coating and blocking the stripes so you can't feel an edge can be much more expensive than that.

I paid $2000 for mine, with the doorsills. Don't get what I have either, I like my originality!
