Default v6 to gtcs bumper swap... what did I forget

So I'm making my list and checking it twice.

The foam behind the V6 bumper is different from the GT Bumper? And I need fender liners?

Is this true or can I reuse the V6 ones?

Anyone have an idea where I can get those items rather quickly?

Thanks

Jason

I keep hearing many different things about the fender liners.
Some people are saying they haven't changed them and haven't had problems.
Other people are saying they are a must.
I would have ordered them, I just forgot about it.

it s not necessary to change the foam , but if you look closely there will b a couple of small uneven spots at the bottom of the honey comb grill insert / v-6 fender insert will works as well , but there are gaps and just won't look right . I recommend getting the GT fender inserts

Fender liners and a GT grille and you'll be good to go. All I needed. I bought the fender liners here:
http://www.egreenautoparts.com/search/category.asp

The dealership has them if you need them asap, but expect to pay more

We are putting it on today.
So we are going to put a piece of rubber at the gap in the fender to keep any water from getting in. Then, I'm going to go ahead and order the liners and put them in as soon as I get them.

I can only have the help I'm getting for today. If I put it off any longer I will be on my own. Haha

Good luck, it's not difficult at all. We're here if you need anything

While the bumper is off it's also a good time to tint/swap out your turn signals if you ever plan on doing so.

GT fender liners
GT Grill
GT foam bumper support.

They dont cost much and you can get from parts dept.
If you are going to do it, do it right.

Your V6 liners will work on GT500 conversions so keep a lookout for cats who want to do the swap and sell them

One other piece I needed, perhaps it's just a V6 Mustang thing, is a lower engine cover.
