I have a MMR Cold Air Intake (Black) and a SCT 91 BAMA Street Tune loaded into my car.
The Cold Air intake was the first thing I did to the car and I noticed a slight increase in power and response. I got the gears and tune about a month later and couldnt be happier with its performance. I have no concerns about any of the mods.. except the usual hoping something doesnt break =).

For the 2011 v6, the intake choice is a little limited right now.
You have MMR and C&L. Luckily, there's a few other kits that are going to be dropping within the next 30 days. The JLT cold air intake system should be available within the next week (we just got ours for testing today, and we'll be posting results Monday/Tuesday), and then Bama is coming out with an intake in about 3 weeks. There's going to be quite a few good options out on the market!
Either way, I think that a Bama custom tune would suit you very well. There's tons of power/torque and driveability left on the table. If you have absolutely any tech questions, whatsoever - please feel free to give Bama a call Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST at 888.226.9764!

After reading all the posts here and elsewhere, it sounded to me like the CAI's are more for sound than power due to the really good factory intake design. I have the SCT 87octane street tune installed on mine. It makes the throttle response a bit snappier. It also feels like it moves the power curve down just a bit. The acceleration starts kicking in at 2200-2300 RPM instead of the usual 2700-2800 on the stock tune. My car is in the shop for a while longer getting a Borla cat-back exhaust. I'll post my thoughts on that when I finally get it back.

New video posted my Chris Rose.
Compares:
- 87 octane (no intake, no tune) to 93 (no intake, no tune)
- gains by JLT and C&L intakes
- gains from BAMA tune with no intake
- gains from BAMA tune with intake
That said, I'm running 91 BAMA street tune right now for the increased low-end torque. It's definitely noticeable. I ran 91 race tune two weeks ago and it was fun. A bit too aggressive for me for a DD (almost no accelerator free play at all). The 87 street tune was great too, which I will probably go back to with the $0.15-$0.25 jump in gas prices around here.
Watch the video. You may decide that getting the tune and no intake is enough, and that the minimal increase when combined is not worth the additional cost.
You might see an increase of 15 HP and 15 TQ from the tune or intake by itself, but when combined, don't expect to see 30 HP and 30 TQ. It's actually more like 20-22.
