Default check fuel cap

do anyone know what this means? thats what my dash is reading. my fuel cap is on tight but it keeps saying this and its been 2 weeks now and I have bought gas twice since. please help im going crazy.

no i didnt should i hook up my handheld tuner and do this or can it be done at the dash itself?

try hooking up your handheld and see the code it throws, and then reset the code. The problem should be solved after that

It is normally a reference that the cap is loose or the tank venting system is not functioning properly. If it was just a cap issue, it should automatically reset as my '07 GT Vert would. Might check the cap for damage.

Thanks guys I will check it tomorrow. Btw I almost ran out of gas a few weeks ago don't know if this is the reason for the problem.

I had that problem with my E-350. Took it in to the dealer and they said it was a faulty sensor. Haven't had a problem sense.

I had a similar problem and it was the gasket seal at the cap, it had dride out and was cracked.. Replaced the cap and the code reset after two tank fills. Hope that helps.
