That's funny, I saw this on the local news the other day. I live just across the border in N C but in the same TV viewing area. They had some good coverage about it. Here is a link to the report from the local news I found. Sorry OP I know it sucks, but time will deaden the pain.

Anyway OP, my mom had some woman hit her in a roundabout because she was trying to change her lane and decided to be blind to our huge SUV. Anyway the other lady was charged with illegal lane change or whatev and we left with some bodywork to be done. The sad part was, that when I called the police and went to check on the other car, there were 4 little kids in the back. What business did she have driving like that? I don't know, but sometimes it still bothers me.
She told the cop "I didn't want to take the wrong exit and have to turn around again"... What the fudge, just what the fudge.?
My point is, its a similar case with you and although no cop was involved for us, you actively changed lanes thus you are at fault. Im sorry. But if youre over 30 insurance MAY not make you poor.

LOL! Be nice. We all deserve a 2nd chance. I'll even restrain from saying that in addition to knowing ..."a thing or two bout driving..." it sounds like he knows a thing or two about crashing.
OK, I took my shot. I can understand his denial. It's waning. And I also like the entertainment.

I meant second chance on the forum vs being labeled a troll.
I think it was the cops fault. The OP subconsciously saw him and momentarily forgot how to drive due to the pressure he was under. He can probably sue for temporary insanity due to the trooper's presence in the vicinity.
Or was it the other car's fault for not having an anti-collision system?
