I just went to pick my car up from the shop and they did not shift the axle back over. They did do thrust angle alignment.
They don't see any chipped paint or discolored areas so they don't see how the axle has shifted. Talking about control arms and sway bar links.
I refused to accept the car and am looking here to see if there is anything in particular I should have them look at to figure out how the axle is shifted.
I'd say the axle needs to be shifted well over an inch.
I'm not lowered. All stock suspension.

The panhard bar is what keeps the axle centered side-to-side. It mounts to one side of the axle, other runs across end mounts to the car body. If a control arm was bent, tire would be off s center front-to-back in the whell well, not side-to-side. If the axle is shifted to one side, it either has to be the panhard bar, or the mounts for it. Probably it is bent. But I'm surprised the shop was not able to tell that from looking at it.

but yeah, I'd put money on the Panhard being tweaked. you can get a cheap aftermarket one for under $100 (non-adjustable). OEM parts can run pretty expensive at times.

Thanks for the quick replies. The car was repaired through insurance so I'm expecting it to be right when I get it back from them.
I called and left a message explaining the panhard bar to them. They're supposed to be putting it up on a lift again today to inspect. I'm sure they'll find something wrong with the panhard bar.
Depending on what they find, I may just have them keep it that much longer to fix it or take a check and do it myself.
Thanks again.
