Default Motor Trend test times bogus?

In Motor Trend's comparison test of convertibles: Mustang GT vs. Camaro, the Mustang's 0-60 was 4.5 seconds. With 3:31s. In a covertible!!! Does this seem credible to you guys? That would put a coupe with 3:73's in the 4.2 range, same as the GT500. Just seems a bit faster than most of the tests I've read. Just wondering what you guys think.

Seems right to me. The 05-10s ran 4.9 with a good driver.

The '11 GT and '11 GT500 are close in 0 - 60 thanks to the GT500 being severely under-tired. Not close at all past 60, though.

Thats awesome times, with an intake and tune probably can hit 60 in 4 sec flat.

Some writers for Motor Trend are fair and right on, some are Biest. That may have something to do with Motor trend being published by Peterson publishing which is owned by GM.

Those times seem correct to me. I think Motor Trend has more bias towards Japanese cars then GM. Even though Toyota's are garbage ( I work on them all the time) they can not remove Toyota's d*ck from their mouths.
