Finally started the SuperShaker Install
#12
Worked on the Mustang for around 6 hours today. Got the SuperCharger installed, Heat Exchanger and Pump installed and the HT0 plugs gapped and installed. I also decided to rotate my Alternator housing because leaving the plug at the top looked like ***. All the pulleys and serpentine belt are installed.
All that's left is to finish up the wiring and run the Intercooler plumbing.
So far no issues and the instructions have been pretty much dead on. It's a little more complicated for my install because I am going back and forth between the 2010 VI.5 install guide and the 2005+ VI SuperShaker install since Saleen doesn't sell a 2010 SuperShaker.
Really good news is the SuperShaker fits the CDC Shaker Hole perfectly. The bad news is that the CDC trim will not work at all with the SuperShaker. This really sucks because the CDC finishes the underhood trim perfectly ... Saleen includes NO trim for underhood so it looks pretty crappy.

FYI .. found the 17MM socket at AutoZone ... I was initially looking for a Ford Alternator Pulley tool and they had no idea what I was talking about.
I already had the hole from my CDC shaker ... It's cuts really easy with a jig saw since it's aluminum ...

WOW....awesome! Looks fantastic.....can't wait to hear how it goes!
As far as the under-hood trim. Check out Grainger or MSC catalogs for table top trim. They have all sorts/types(aluminum, plastic, rubber, metal, stainless) of trims available that you could adapt to your application.
Good luck!!
