Default Ticking noise

So mind you i havent started my car in about a week. Well i started to today to go get it washed(cause its actually a nice day) of course there is a storm on tuesday. Anyways i pulled out of the garage And i hear loud ticking so i get out and it sounded like it was coming from behind the front left tire but in the engine bay. Well i opened the hood and there is alot of ticking on top of the engine but i think thats normal. Whats wierd is the sound from near the left tire area sounds different. Any one have a clue what this sound may be? Or does anyone think its because its cold out and the car hasnt been started in a week? Thanks guys

Usually means there is some lash in the valve gear or worse in the bearings? Unless it is from the exhaust warming up. How long ago did you change the oil?

i have royal purple in and i changed it about 7 months ago but i dont drive much and barly drive it now cause of all the snow. Yeah i am hoping its the exhaust warming up. what would cause the value or baring to go? I dont beat the crap out of my car or anything just spirited driving every now and then.
