Well in your opinion, do you think the steeda hd mounts are something that would really be worth it? I have looked into the gt500 strut mounts($84.99) but the general opinion of them online is that they will break or wear over time where as the the steeda ones wont. I just am trying to see if the big price difference is justified.

Got mine in today. Fedex did a bang up job of destroying the box, one of the rear shocks was poking out of the box. Yep, punctured it's original box and the shipping box

Unsure if it's ok yet, it's not responding like I would expect it to. But then again, neither is the other rear shock which was still contained in it's original box just fine. They both are behaving pretty similar.

Guess I'll have to install them to find out.

Wow, they must have been jostled around hard to do that. Gotta love it. As for damage....no worried shocks are much tougher than boxes (see your box for confirmation). Unless one was driven over or had hundreds of pounds sitting on it sideways, they're fine. In fact I've never had a broken shock from shipping, ever. Missing shocks, yes, missing parts, sometimes... but never a busted shock.

Yeah, it was packed well enough, that it wasn't from poor packing. The Hawaiian door mat padding stuff was cool, never seen something like that before. What looked liked happen the nylon shock rod retaining strap popped off the shock and caused it to go punching out the boxes.

Actually, if I remember right, I think the same thing happened on one of the front struts for the Yellows when I bought them for my Mustang last year.
