We paid less for our loaded 10 Mustang GT Premium ($9,250 off MSRP) than we did for our loaded 06 Mustang V6 Pony (paid MSRP). A 11 Mustang GT Premium was $12,000 more MSRP then add the dealer markup of $6,000 the price alone made it a no brainer.

After driving both the 10 GT & 11 GT (both auto) and the fact this was going to my wife's car who rarely goves above 3,500 rpms I found the 10 GT to be more powerful and a better driver.

I'm more of a GM guy but our 06 Mustang (auto) was a great car. With the 4.10 gears & a tune as a daily driver it was faster & more responsive than the 11 GT. My son & I walked away from the 11 GT test drive very dissapointed. Above 3,000 rpms the 11 GT wakes up & show it dominance.

To the OP, you need to be real with yourself, your prefered driving style and what will make you happy. Go drive them for yourself because that's all that matters anyway.

Wait wait.. This is all a part of his ploy. Lol. I think this is the thread where he makes 2010 mustang owners feel like crap about their rides lol.

As a matter of fact the only new thread post I want to see from you is that you actually have it!

Also, why don't you post up some pics of your current '06? I just want to see what is so bad about it that you claim there is.
I'm starting to formulate this thought.. you see. Maybe he doesn't even own an '06, he actually owns an '10. Purchased it right before the '11 came out and is one of those bitter guys with buyers remorse and is now just here to troll on '10 and older.

Though I think he's just mentally retarded makes more sense.

Wow. your 06 was quicker with just a tune and gears?

So you don't think a 2011 GT is really worth the cash then?

What are your thoughts on the Camaro SS then? Thats another car I was eyeing if I can find a used one for cheap.

For a mild daily driver our modded 06 was more responsive & didn't have the lag the 11 GT has but was pretty weak after 80mph. The 11 GT is way faster & just really gets going at 80mph. It goes back to how do you plan on driving it.

There are some that are getting really good deals now on the 11 GT. I would rather have a 11 GT than a 10 GT but I drive my cars hard.

I like the new Camaro except for how high the door top is. Can't rest your arm there if the window is down. Just fells awkward to me but my wife may get a new Camaro conv SS.

All your threads and posts lead to this one statement:

"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
I love it, a Billy Maddison quote. LOL

Never seen a 2010 close to 2011 prices, yet. At least around hear. The new engine is nice but it's no reason for a 2010 owner to go crying home about. If power is the end all decision maker then you can make a 3v just as fast and even faster for less than what it would cost me to upgrade to an 2011 and sometimes it fun being the underdog.

Cars are like everything else in the tech world. If you want to always have the best you better have deep pockets as it changes fast.

I leave you with this though which I'm sure will blow your mind. If you REALLY want to be top dog, and still have money left at the edn of the day, go by an 03/04 cobra and drop $1-$2K in it and get nearly 500HP to the ground.
