Fred, I have no answer for your question, but would be interested in hearing your results when you change pulleys. I am toying with that idea for my M90 also but am concerned about the tune being a little too aggressive and not as "reliable" as the more conservative ROUSH tune. My performance guy here in Chicago has that tool, maybe you could try looking at those places first. Will be looking forward to your results. Have you got the dyno numbers for your M90 now so you can compare?

i put the vmp 500 kit on my car not long ago, it put 420whp down and 408tq on a tune that was really rich in some places. All i can say is once you get the tune and pulley on, go to a dyno before you get on it to be sure all is well. my first vmp tune was very lean, i had to add 4% fuel to get the AFR where it needed to be. That tool VMP sells is worth the money for press onpullies. As for your car, isn;t that a bolt on? I didn't think you needed the pulley remover with the bolt on cars. i think they went press on in 09 IIRC.

My Roush is a 06 but the M90 has the press on pulley. I purchased a vmp 500 kit and I will be installing it as soon it gets in, I was told by another Roush owner I can use the 3 jaw pulley puller which I already have. He also suggested to us a power steering pump pulley installation / removal tool for the install of new smaller pulley. This tool is rented for free actualy at any autozone or autobarn after leaving a deposit. I will dyno after install to keep engine safe. Thanks for input.

Did you end up using a power steering pump pulley remover installer you rented? Im thinking about the upgrade but the VMP tool is a little pricey.

that vmp pulley remover is pricy, but it will get that pulley on and off in a minute with no damage at all.
