Interstate batteries are one of the best. Diehard used to be decent but I'm unsure. Stay away from the WalMart batteries.

As with any franchise, you'll find customer service can vary but my gut feeling is that you'll get very good support.

X2, the last die hard I bought was 5 years ago & it was still working great when I traded the car in. I've always heard Interstate was one of the best but never tried one, just stay away from Kragen, their batteries last 1.5 - 2years.

There's only like two companies that make most of the car batteries for the US.

Johnson Controls makes Duralast, Diehard, Motorcraft, Interstate, and some Everstart (walmart brand)

Exide makes Exide, NAPA, Champion, and and some Everstart.

I work for Advance Auto Parts we install batteries for free and do it quickly also have a great warranty 3 year free replacement 84 month prorating. But I will tell you aap is about the customer and giving the best customer service they are going to do what ever it takes to make you happy. Although I am a little partial to Autocrafts... I can also confirm that there is only 2 companies that make batteries and Johnson controls have the competition whipped hands down...

Optima Red or Yellow Top. End of discussion, its the best battery for the money, I'll be getting one soon as my OEM is starting to die on a regular basis now. They are very reputable and I have heard nothing but good things

Yeah...no. It really isn't hard to install. Save your money.
