Default Is Interstate Battery an honest company?

My second Motorcraft battery in 4 1/2 years is dying, and I am thinking about purchasing an Interstate 40-R. I went to the Interstate Batteries web page and it shows a suggested retail price of $111.95, with a list price of $133.95. The shop I called quoted me $139.95, not including installation.

I contacted Interstate Battery, and they said that prices varied in different parts of the country. That was not shown on its website.

According to the area distributor, $139.95 is the customary retail price in my area.

I think that the Interstate Batteries web site is misleading. I am concerned that, if I have a warranty claim, they will pull a fast one. Has anyone here had any claims experience with them? If so, did they treat you in an honest manner?

I have no experience with Interstate, but install it yourself. It's super easy. Pep Boys said they'd install mine for $15, LOL no

For what its worth, I have always trusted Duralast batteries and have never had an issue. The batteries start everytime and the terminals do not corrode.

I put an Interstate battery in my 2001 Ram pick-up 6 years ago and it's still working good with no issues!! I would recommend Interstate. I bought this pick-up truck new and the Interstate battery so far lasted longer the OEM battery!!

Interstate is a great battery, it is the only battery I buy. I have read Interstate has the lowest return rate of any battery sold. Good enough for me.

Interstate and Optima are the only batteries I buy. I've never had to replace one.
