Question Pioneer 3200BT WITH NAV or Sony 660BT w/Nav?

I've narrowed it down to the Pioneer 3200BT WITH the AVIC-U220 NAV
package... which I can get online with EVERYTHING.. even the adapters needed for 650 bucks... OR the Sony XNV-660BT that has the tom tom nav in it for 700 plus the cost of the adapters etc.

Now which should I go with and why?

I do like the fact that the light illumination on the Pioneer is adjustable.
(buttons).
I was just wondering if there was any reason the Sony would be better.
I know the Sony comes with a year of free updates to the maps.

I don't know how you update the AVIC-U220... (can someone help me with this?).

Also the sony says it has in voice turn where it will speak when you need to turn. Anyone with the Pioneer setup and NAV know if it has this?

I have no clue why the Sony is more. (About 100 bucks in the end)

Please post any more comments and all the reasons for your pick on the two.
Also if you could answer my questions I would REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks!

^^^That.

With that being said, Pioneer FTW. I have it in my Stang (not the same one, but yea) and the Pioneer system works VERY well. Sounds like a good deal. And the Pioneer navigation is pretty good for a NAV system, hasn't gotten me lost yet.

Another thing. I noticed the Pioneer has and SD card slot... the Sony does not.

I have seen pics of stangs with touchscreen stereos that have like the running horse
background on it. Could I do that with the Pioneer for car shows etc?
Put my own pics for the background? Or is the SD card for stored music only?

I have the 3200bt, but I don't have the nav. I love it though. Its my first touch screen, so I don't really have anything to compare to it, but its easy to use, looks great, and the bluetooth works like a charm.

TBH, I'm not sure. I have the lowest end NAV model they have (The AVIC U32B or something like that) but I believe the more upscale ones like the ones you want might.

Best place to check...YouTube it.

Anyone know about that loading your own pics?
I have seen some ppl with backrounds of the mustang running horse on their
touch screen stereos.

Can the Pioneer do that? ( I have no idea what I would put the search to youtube that...)
Also... I can get the 3300 for the same price which is the same but
has a few upgrades on it so yay on that!

I also need to know... which I posted on other thread.
Some people talk about a bypass wire you can buy to make the DVD work while driving. But the shop I was in said you can't do that if you have the NAV system with it for some reason. I said I thought you could and they said they would do it if it could be done because one guy is a friend of mine but I need to know also if it can be done with the nav system, and what wire it is (number etc.) and where to get it.

Thanks.
